Winter Wedding

A beautiful day coming up for my cousin!!

Anticipation fills the air as we wait for the special day,

When the wedding begins, emotions will overflow,

A tear will escape as I reflect on the love Ellen has come to know.

She's more than my cousin; an amazing role model indeed,

Resilient, intelligent, selfless – virtues in her that I've seen.

With each uttered "I do," a reminder takes root,

Love is not just a concept; it's tangible, real, and resolute.
